How much does stucco repair cost in Salt Lake City?
Small crack and patch repairs are priced by the area and how hard the existing texture is to match; larger repairs that involve cutting out lath or chasing a moisture source cost more because the wall has to be rebuilt properly. We look at it in person and give you a free itemized quote instead of guessing over the phone.
Why does stucco crack in Utah?
Utah's freeze-thaw swings, dry air and normal house settling all move the wall. Hairline cracking in the finish coat is common and cosmetic; wide, stair-stepped or spreading cracks, bubbling, or dark staining usually mean water is getting behind the stucco and needs to be traced before it's covered up.
Can you match my existing stucco texture and colour?
In most cases, yes. Texture is matched by hand on site, and colour is sampled on your wall in daylight before we commit. Older walls that have chalked or faded can sometimes be matched only by re-coating a full elevation, and we'll say so upfront rather than leaving you with a visible patch.
Do you install stone veneer as well as stucco?
Yes — dry-stack and cut stone veneer on columns, wainscots, entries, chimneys and full elevations, plus brick accents. Because we do siding, stucco, stone and soffit in-house, mixed-material elevations are handled by one crew.
